A useful account of the meeting with Agents and Publicists. While the turnout was low, some key people did show up. That might seem to augur in SAG’s favor, but turns out several attendees used the event to express their discontent with the Guild’s leadership.
As I have argued here several times, to win the Guild must have a compelling argument for their position. The content of this meeting makes clear how far they have fallen short of that essential condition of a successful bargaining strategy.
